Hunter, I wish you could have seen the lightning on the way home from the airport. It nearly hit the car, which was already shaking from the rain. Val told me it'd be alright when he got back into the driver's seat and I was still sniffling. I think it will be.

The flower I plucked from the tree and pinned into your hair fell out when you ran into the airport to stay out of the downpour and catch your flight. I laughed.

I moved all of my things into your room for a few hours to clean my floor, and I sang and cried out your window and finished the Magic Hat you left in our fridge.
